I declined the previously declared reimbursement from Roche for a train fare to attend a meeting on 4/10/18, so no longer have a financial conflict of interest in this regard. I will chair a discussion on bowel surgery in ovarian cancer treatment at a meeting on 4/20/18, sponsored by Roche ,but take no financial honorarium or expenses for this from Roche and have no intellectual conflict of interest.
I do not prescribe, nor recommend any chemotherapy drugs, nor do I do any private work.

Several years ago, I went on a live surgery course to learn laparoscopic surgical techniques that was funded by Ethicon. This was the only way to access this valuable training.
Part of my salary is reimbursed to the hospital from an NIHR grant which finds 3 hours per week for my Cochrane work.
